Zwischen dem Hauptgipfel (Westgipfel) und dem Ostgipfel, die durch eine tiefe, routenlose Schlucht getrennt sind, spannen fünf erfahrene Highliner – Markus Thaler, Robert "Bertl" Pelz, Tobias "Tobi" Gerhardt, Johannes "Jonny" Ellemunt und Mark Michael Mair – eine Highline und wagen das waghalsige Gleichgewichtsmanöver in schwindelerregender Höhe.
Mit kiloweiser Ausrüstung erklimmt die Crew den Berg, setzt Ankerpunkte und sichert die Line. Trotz unsicherer Wetterverhältnisse und brüchigem Fels bleibt unklar, ob das Vorhaben gelingt. Als Mark schließlich die 60 Meter lange Highline in 3097 Metern Höhe überquert, folgen ihm die anderen – ein Kampf gegen Schwindel, Angst und Erschöpfung.
