Das Jahr 2020 steht ganz im Zeichen eines der größten Musik-Genies aller Zeiten. Ein ganzes Jahr lang wird der 250. Geburtstag von Ludwig van Beethoven gefeiert.
Obwohl in Bonn geboren, hat der Musiker der früh erste Anzeichen eines Gehörleidens bemerkte, die meiste und erfolgreichste Zeit seines Lebens in Wien verbracht. Und so finden wir heute auch sein Grab auf dem Wiener Zentralfriedhof. Es ist nicht nur irgendein Grab. Es ist eines der am meisten besuchten Ehrengräber auf diesem Friedhof.
Aus diesem Grund darf ein besonderer Programmpunkt auf dem Zentralfriedhof im Jubiläums-Jahr 2020 nicht fehlen: gemeinsam mit der Künstlervereinigung FESTKLANG und Friedhöfe Wien lädt GabiTours zur “Beethoven-Matinee am Zentralfriedhof” ein. Inhalt der Matinee ist eine Führung auf dem Wiener Zentalfriedhof mit den Schwerpunkt Ludwig van Beethoven, Musiker und Musik am Friedhof, sowie eine abschließendes Konzert in der Aufbahrungshalle 1.
Die Führung dauert inkl. Besichtigung der Aufbahrungshalle 1 ca. 90 Minuten. Die musikalische Darbietung in der Halle 1 dauert ca. 30 Minuten.
